About APPIA

The APPIA employs 21 people in head office, 6 regional offices and one laboratory across the country. More than half of its staff is engineers, scientists, and environmental protection specialists; other groups include legal, public affairs, financial, and computer specialists.

The APPIA conducts environmental assessment, research, and education. The APPIA works with industries and all levels of government, non government national and international projects and development activities in a wide variety of pollution prevention programs, climate change, biodiversity, marine affairs and energy conservation efforts.

APPIA serves the industry in point of environmental study and reporting (IEE, EIA, EMP, etc.). It has already studied and reported on more than 45 industries.

APPIA also design and install Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP), Water Treatment plant (WTP). It has already design and installed more than 20 ETP in different industries.

APPIA assist in environmental documentation, audit and certification.

APPIA involves in research & development, publication, social activities like education for the poor people, food and nutrition for the poor people, safety for the vulnerable people etc.
